Halwell & Moreleigh

Due to the extraordinary circumstances caused by the Coronavirus outbreak, along with other Parish Councils, it has been agreed that Parish Council meetings will not take place for the foreseeable future. This includes The Annual Parish Meeting.

Essential decisions will still continue to be made using email consultations and delegated powers, with all Members and this will include Planning Applications.

These measures are being taken with the health and wellbeing of all Parishioners, many of whom are older or vulnerable.

The villages of Halwell & Moreleigh and outlying smaller communities form a single parish 'Halwell & Moreleigh. They are both small villages and are ½ mile from each other with outlying residents up to 4 miles away. All are located within the South Hams District Council area, in Devon, South West England.
